Bluewater Superyacht Bridge Services has partnered with MSOS to bring top notch medical kits to your yacht!

Bluewater has recently signed an agreement with UK based Medical Support Off Shore (MSOS) to work with them in selling and maintaining the MSOS line of medical kits on board yachts.

Becky Castellano R.N., the US based MSOS agent, will work alongside the Bluewater Superyacht team members to advise customers on selecting the right medical kit for their needs.

Bluewater will also now keep, in stock, in our showroom a range of associated safety items such as stretchers, oxygen tanks, and eye wash stations.

Distant Ocean Medical Kit:

DOMThe Distant Ocean Medical Kit (DOM) is designed for vessels undertaking trans-ocean voyages, such as across the Atlantic, spending seasons in the Caribbean or going through the Panama Canal and further west. Such voyages take vessels to areas where definitive good quality help could well be many days away. This kit enables treatment of many problems on board the boat, or stabilisation of sick or injured crew until definitive help is at hand.The kit is recommended for boat crew who have had first aid training, and ideally have telemedical support in addition. It is intended for private vessels, undertaking non-commercial activities.

MCA Category A Premium Medical Kit

MCA Cat 10PThe MCA Category A Medical kit is designed to comply with the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency MSN 1768 regulations regarding ships medical stores for commercial vessels.
These regulations specify kit contents and the amounts of medicines and medical equipment to be provided for increasing numbers of crew. Thus this kit can be compiled for ten, twenty and thirty crew by the addition of additional medical adjunct bags.
The MCA Category A kit is a comprehensive medical kit, and is a requirement for commercial vessels operating further than 150nm offshore, beyond helicopter range or prompt reach of other offshore rescue services.
It is suitable for vessels undertaking trans-ocean voyages, such as across the Atlantic, spending seasons in the Caribbean or going through the Panama Canal and further west. Such voyages take vessels to areas where definitive good quality help could well be many days away. This kit enables treatment of many problems on board the boat, or stabilisation of sick or injured crew until definitive help is at hand.

Near Ocean Medical Kit

NOM Medical KitThe Near Ocean Medical Kit (NOM) is designed for vessels cruising generally within 150nm of the coast, so within reasonable reach of rescue services such as helicopters.
The kit facilitates a reasonable degree of independence for vessels cruising the Baltic, around the northern coast of Europe, down the western seaboard, and for seasons in the Mediterranean. Similarly, it would be a reasonable medical kit for cruising the Eastern seaboard of the Americas, and spending seasons in the Caribbean.
The kit is designed to enable treatment of minor medical problems on board the boat, and provide stabilisation of sick or injured crew until definitive help arrives.
The kit is recommended for boat crew who have had first aid training, and ideally have telemedical support in addition. It is intended for private vessels, undertaking non-commercial activities.
